Panera Bread wasteful practices - Wasteing energy
I visited the Panera on Teideman Road in Brooklyn Ohio on the afternoon of 6/22/2014. Food and service were good. However, while eating lunch outside I noticed the exterior lights on the building were on and a pole light was on as well. I told the person in charge behind the counter and she said she knew about the lights and they are on all the time. I am a Commercial Energy Auditor and I cannot understand why Panera would waste energy and money like this on a regular basis. This is certainly not a green business model. Please let me know why this practice continues. If Panera would like FREE energy audits for it's stores, I can help.
